Scratch remover

I saw an infomercial for a 'miracle' scratch remover. It was a rub and buff compound and looked like it'd work. It also has pencil in paint that worked with the compound 'for those down to the metal scratches.' Does any one know what it is and if it works?

At one time and another, I have tried virtually all of them. The best thing to remove scratches is a new paint job.

Excluding that, touch up paint.

I work in a detailing shop that does everything except mechanical work. NO, the "Scratch removers" do NOT work. They may lighten the scratch, but you will still be able to see it. How deep are the scratches? If it is to the mettal, go to a GM dealership and get a touch up stick. They will be able to match it up to the original colour. This will halfto be blended in. E-mail me for details. If not that deep, look around for detailing shops, ask abought the hi-speed buffs. BE CARFULL WHO YOU GIVE IT TO. Look for prof that the know what there doing. This will remove all fine scratches, swrils and spider webs (from taking it threw the car wash). Have any questions? E-mail me. Mi82TA@aol.com

i bought that crap(looks like a crayon to put over deep scratches) and those are a waste of 14.00. I followed instruction as best as i can and if u see the infomercial they say in tiny letter to leave on for 24 hours then buff out. I did the exact and nothing. Dont ever listen to those stupid infomercial nothing ever works but doing a paint job.
