I want to convert my 5.0 4bbl to an open element and am wonndering what I need to get that ugly snorkel thing. Any one know? What do I do with the vacum line from the filter housing to the carb? Thanx, guys!

i don't know about the carb but on the TBI there is a small hose leading to the control valve on the air cleaner i took all of that off and used the elbow from the hose(Air cleaner side---go get a vacumm cap and put the cap on the elbow and put it back on the location where the hose leads to the air cleaner
