I am getting white face guages for my 89 rs, and they told me that I have guages for a 305 5.0L v8. Well I have a 2.8L v6, my orange line is at 4500 and red line at 5000rpm's and oil pressure is 0-30-60. Anyone have a 2.8l rs? If so what are your guage readings? Any info is greatly appeciated!

Yes, those aren't 89 2.8 guages.

Thanks for the info. That is really werd because my car is all stock besides what I've done to it. I even checked the vin # and the eigth digit is an S=173ci v6 (LB8). So I think someone messed up at the factory I guess.

Maybe a previous owner did it, are u sure its a 2.8??

Yeah I'm sure it's a 2.8L I've had this car for around 9 years. I don't know why someone would just put 5.0L guages in it, it would have been a couple years old, cause I've had it since it was 2 or 3.
