Its easy to see out of all you have to do is take the driver side TTop off and stand up!! (I knew those T Tops were good for something)

hey custom 89, that hood looks pimp man! i only wish i had enuff cash for one of those hoods, then my car would be complete as far as cosmetics go, but $500 for a hood is just too much for me. but yah just get that thing painted black and get the torqer 2s and your car will look **** man!

I like the hood, but then I'm probably partial to it thanks to my '97 SS.
I think that looks good on a 3rd Gen, one of the better looking aftermarket hoods.

I've never heard anyone talk about different versions, but I know ASCD says to specify TPI or carb when ordering.

the Cervinies hoods are very great quality and a good price for how the hood is made and everything. my brother got 2 of there hood just the 3 in cowl hoods and had no problems. he paid 350 at the swap meet for one of them off of there truck and paid alittle over 350 for the other one he bought off the fone from them. he's got one for each of his camaro's an 86 sport coupe and a 91 z28
this is the 91 before it got painted

hey 1fastz28 I have the same hood as you. I love it. it fits awsome and it was only $399. Its a great value when you compare it to the price of other aftermarket hoods. Plus it is unique as not very many other people have it.

Thats what i'm getting. Either the cervini's cowl hood or the ss hood. I can't decide, but luckily i'm not to that part yet, so I still have time. they both look bad *** imo.Originally posted by 1982chevycamaroz28

is it really ram air? if so how does it work. i mean like the Ram Air II hood has the air box under the holes. what about the cervinis?Originally posted by sober333

I know the Cervini dual ram air hood for the Mustangs routes the air over to the front fender where you can connect it to a filter housing. Kinda like the hoods on the new SS's. I'm not sure if the Camaro's dual ram air hood is the same, I hope so!

It's not like the mustangs, underneath it looks just like a cowl hood but with 2 open holes where the scoops are, it does work, but if you don't make a airbox underneath for it, it will just be blowing cold air on top of your engine! I have attached a pic of the underside so you know what I'm trying to say! And the crap on the hood isn't on my car, it just showed up on the picture.

I havn't made one yet, I just got my hood on and painted 3 weeks ago. But a pretty well known shop around here is building a polished airbox of aluminum that will sit on top of the plenum and will seal around the scoops when the hood is closed, it should look pretty trick!! Then there going to run a polished aluminum ducting to the throttle body! This is something u could easily do yourself, but I wanted it to look extremly trick so I'm going the more expensive root! I'll post pics when it's installed and done!
