does anyone know what this is called and where i can get one, i tried slp but had no luck with them.

 

You can get them from http://www.thunderracing.com SLP makes them and they cost around $219.00.

 

I am sorry I didn't wait for the pic to post before I replied. That's a ram air intake setup. I don't know what the cost is but I believe http://www.thirdgenresource.com or http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com has them. But I believe you have to get the appropriate hood to use them due to clearance. Also a stock hood would starve them for air. Hope this helps.

Also what you have pictured is from a 4th gen's engine bay. Looks like an aftermarket Ram Air setup. The factory ones do not say SLP on them and they are black not red.
