Who makes performance chip for '85z28 305 TPI?
Who makes a performance chip for the '85 305 tpi camaro? I can only find them down to '88.

Sorry, you have the bastard year for TPI. I would suggest upgrading to a 1986-89 ECM before I spend money on a chip for the '85. It's just the 85 is totally differant then all the rest. Many improvements come with the newer ECM's.

In my opinion, don't bother with an aftermarket chip. The '85s have simple programming and allow numerous engine modifications. I bought a chip from MRP many, many, years ago and took it back out because of excessive knocking.
Don't accept any sympathies from anyone offering condolences for your ECM, ReDnEk27. It took GM many years to regain the performance they had in the '85s, having lost it to stricter emissions and economy standards. I've driven '87 (305), '88 and '89 ( both 350) TPI cars and didn't feel any SOTP difference from mine. As a matter of fact, mine has better low end grunt than they do - must be the 3.27 gears.
