those rims

the stock bolt pattern on 3rd gen's is 4.75 and the back spacing is 4.5... you might have better luck making measurements... BEFORE you buy rims... I messed that one up and lost about $ 200 I'm not sure if they will fit correctly... SORRY

If you run 15x10's in the front, you'll have steering issues. if you want them in the back And under the lip, you'll have to hammerout a little more space towards the back. - and yes, 4.75 bolt circle, not 4.5...

what if i dont care how far they stick out from the fender lip? i know its illegal but so many people get away with it. could i keep the 4.5 backspacing and let them stick out a little?

oh ya these wheels are for the back. but i will also be getting front ones that will be 15"x6". what backspacing should those be?
and would it be alright to have 3.5-4" backspacing for the rears?(considering i dont mind them sticking out a little)

I run 15x10's on the rear of my ride, I have 4" backspacing and they stick out about an inch and a half past the fender lip! Depending on what size tire u run, a big hammer and/or air shocks may be in order.

I'm the other end of the scale. I run a 5.5(I think) backspace and beat the **** outta the backside of the wheel well. They sit under the car with Eibach Sportline's and 295/50's. You have to be careful not to beat to much and mess w/ any suspension components though. I had to go back to stock springs to run BFG DR 325/50/15's though. The 15x10 rear, 15x6 front combo look awesome on the car though.
- Don't qoute me on the backspace, it's been a while. I just know that they sit under the lip. They're slightly back from the top lip. I personally think the car looks better if the tires are under it. Plus, running in the rain makes such a mess w/ them sticking out.

later, justin...

I'll try an dig up some pics. They were on my T-top car. I sold it a while ago, but I'm sure I have some pics somewhere. I'm going to be putting the same on my GTA asap though.

definitly a wheel and tire board... so are you saying since you have a 15*10 and thes ahve 4" backspacing and stick out about 1.5" that 10-4= 6" stick past your drum...

so 6-1.5 (sticking out)= 4.5"

so whatever you do, to stay inside the lip your tire can be: 4.5" plus the backspacing? so if i have a 15*8 with 3.75 backspacing then i shodl be about ( 8-3.75=4.25) i shodl be about .25" inside the lip??? does this all goe for the fron too? i want to consider putting 15*8's all the way around, american racing outlaw II's on auction on ebay.... will i be more happy with the 16*8's (if they exist accordign to american racings site i don't see our bolt patter , but i have sen people on here iwth them)
please re asap as teh auction ends within about a day.,.,
