Solid roller lifters
I am looking for a part number for solid roller lifters. I am looking for the non-retrofit ones if such a thing exists, for the 87 and up blocks.

Small block SOLID rollers are small block solid rollers. Years don't matter. You just have to run regular pushrods, not the shorties for hydraulic roller motors.

Actually there are different types of solid roller sbc lifters in catalogs. Some have a little longer body for use in the roller blocks and some have a special oil band so the roller can be oiled at low rpms for street use.

You can get them from RaceNet but you have to enter the part number 873-16 priced at $425 still kind of expensive.

Just a reminder, solid roller isn't the best idea if you drive it on the street alot.

I talked to Comp Cams phone line about this.... From the several Techs I talked to said if stud girdles are ran then lash won't have to be ran as much. I could handle running lash every month or other weekend if I get more hp and more rpms to turn.
