I was wondering if anyone has a Hurst Dual Gate shifter in their car? I was thinking about buying one and would like to know if its worth getting?

I have the shifter in my car. Installing it was kind of a pain because the wires for the neutral safety switch weren't long enough. I had to take the dash apart to give the wires enough slack to reach. But other than the install I've had no problems with the shifter. If shifts nice and looks great. It didn't help performance any but it sure beats that damn button on the shifter! Make sure you get the console model.

On mine I had no trouble getting the wires to reach, even though my harness was shortened due to splicing a new connector in when undoing a manual swap.<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by Iroc n roll:
