replacement chip
I am looking to replace my stock chip for an aftermarket PROM and was wondering what the best for the cost was. High Performance Pontiac suggested performanceresource.com, so has anybody used or heard anything about them? I'd like to add some extra horse and all. My car is a daily driver but I do drag when I can. I'd like to keep the price under $200 or so (so hopefully I can get it as a gift and not buy it myself
) Thanx for your help!
And I know there is a PROM board but I figured since this was aftermarket review this would be a good place to get a review.

if i wanted to buy a chip.. should I go stock? or get custom.. my mods soon will include lt1 cam, edlebrock rpm performer intake, headers and open element..
I have a 305 TBI 88 .
is a chip easy to install? i have no clue about computers
would I be able to eleminate the egr on this chip? or does that have nothing to do with chips? just comp?
