Highly Recommended!

Here are some detailing products that I've used today and some of the results. I was very pleased with the way everything turned out and was hoping this would help you guys out in the future. As a side note, this paint job is 13 years old and there is some body damage on the car so I couldn't show a pic of the whole baby or else I'd be ripped a new one by you guys, hehe. Hopefully, I'll have all the work done and a new paint job with a ram air II hood within the next month.

All these products can be found at any local Pep Boys store.
From left to right, they are: 1. Meguiar's Gold Class Clear Coat Liquid polish 2. Clay Magic Perfect Finish clay bar and spray 3. Nu Finish Car Wash w/ orange power 4. Armor All Extreme Tire Shine 5. Eagle One Etching Mag Cleaner for cast alloy rims (spray on/wash off - works incredible!!) and of course a little polishing rag in the front.

Here's a shot of the front left panel. Nice shine huh?

Finally here's a closeup of the rim. I should have taken before and after shots, cause these things were dirty as hell before. You can get the idea. (I sincerely hope these pics work...it's the first time i have tried this webhosting thing) I welcome any and all comments and suggestions as well. Thanks.

Make sure you don't use armor-all

Don't use Armor-All wheel cleaner/shine or anything(from armor-all)! It WILL remove your clear coat within a few uses.... Has a strong acid in it. The guy at the car wash says he gets about 15 people a week ask him why their rims are starting to get "spotty", and 9 times out of 10, they say they have used the armor-all product. Use Mothers MAG & Aluminum Polish if you use anything. Your guess is as good as mine why they are even allowed to sell these products.

Car: Check The Sig
<------- has used armor all for 16 years... no problems.

I used armor all tire cleaner and they never spotted my rims. Now that I have black magic...Im getting tiny black spots. The only armor all product i dont use is the wax because I have switched to MGC.

Let me take that back then. Make sure you check ANY product for acids before you put them on your rims. There must be different armor-all wheel cleaners, because this guy has had so many people have problems. Armor-all on your dashboard is an entire different thing, I don't think it harms that in any way ( At least I hope not ).
