Looking at adding a little more hp.
Ive been buying mods for my car since i bought it and want to know what else there is to get for it. So far I have gotten a air foil, throttle body bypass, K&N air filter, high flow cat and straight through exhaust after that, underdrive pulleys. I plan on getting a jet stage 2 chip, hear they dont do a whole lot but I want to get rid of that damn speed limiter. After winter I plan on getting headers. Probably going to make a new intake out of PVC and a cone filter. I was thinking about adding a little more bite to the ignition system but not sure what all to get. I dont really want to dig into the engine to much. If any one out there has a few more ideas let me know.

change the rear end gears to 3.42's, get a posi if u dont already have one. id say change the cam if u want to get that deep into the motor. change the torque converter to like a 2600 stall and try to match everything to the 3.42 gears becuz stock tpi falls flat on its face after 4500 or was it 5000 rpms, i forget which. but also if ur goin to change the cam, have the heads taken off and have a good shop do a mild port and polish job on them, also u could change your intake and runner also. thats just a small hand full of things that you could do.

I'd have to agree, if you don't have the gears, go that route. That will help. A torque converter will be a good choice to. If your not looking at spending a lot of money, I believe it's a torque convertor from a 4cyl S-10 that will stall out at 2600. At least that's what I think. Also you can look into upgrading your ignition to a better unit. You could also go roller rockers. Not a big HP increase but every little bit helps. You can also port the plenum to help and if you freeling froggy, port the rest of the intake.
hope that helps.

As mentioned, 3.42 gears, posi, you already have the free flowing exhaust, maybe headman or hooker shorty headers with y pipe. cold air induction, make sure you do a good tune up on it, cap wires, TPS adjustment.
If you are not going to change the cam I definately would go with a better tourqe convertor and maybe a vette servo to help firm up your shifts.
