Best base and runner combo
Iam looking for a aftermarket base and runners for my stock 85 tpi 305, but im not to sure what company has the best product. ( SLP, ACCEL, Edelbrock )
Thank You
Thank You
It doesnt matter what parts you buy they will all benefit from porting, they are all far from perfect out of the box.
Any ported base and Superam runners and plenum will flow the most and make the most power.

If you want to stick with the LTR, I would say Accell base with ASM/Accell runner's. That combo will require much less porting than an Edelbrock base and SLP runners. For a 305 these items will be your best bet.

I think it totally sucks that you buy these expensive aftermarket intake crap and we still have to port. I mean shouldn't they just be cast that way to start with, then maybe we could just do a little smoothing.
