Differences between Ram Air I and II

Alright, i seem to like the Ram Air I hood better becuase is follows the lines of the car exactly. But mine is gonna be functional. Is there a kit for the the Ram Air I to be functional, all i've seen appeared to be for the Ram Air II. Some one help.

Although on the other hand the Ram Air II hood seems to look like more air will flow through it at a time increasing performance. The Ram Air II hood i've heard though doesn't exactly fit right.

I'm looking to increase performance for now with small bolt ons. Will the Ram Air I or II be better, has anyone ever though about this?

truth be told, neither hood fits perfect. And to be honest, the benefits of "ram air" are little to none over a propper cold-air setup. In fact, many people believe that ram-air is just a marketing ploy, which it very well could be.

On my GTA with the RA 1 , I'm going to attempt to fab something for it. But if it gets to where I'm cramming a tiny filter on the engine that won't do as well as a cold-air setup, I'm gonna go with an SLP kit for Trans Ams. My advice to you is to do the same.
