Apparently, GMS is marketing an adjustable MAF sensor for TPI cars. GMS claims that it flows 30% more air than stock with the screens attached and its adjustable. A simple turn of the screw will alter the signal set to the ECM, thus, affecting the AFR.

How about some opinions here.

Yes, the MAF is the restriction. But GMS is claiming an increase of 30% more air flow than stock, and that is with the screens intact.

So, is the inside diameter larger? If so, then I would be interested.

BTW, it sells for something like $450!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats an awful lot for an MAF.... If you wanna adjust the a:f ratio, hell buy a cheaper high flow non-adjustable MAF, and buy an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. The regulators usually go for around $60-$80 with what I've seen.

I paid $280 for my GMS MAF...granted it's for a SBF, but everyone I talked to told me I overpaid.

And FYI, make sure you order the version for a cold air intake. I have the stock-style one and I can't run a cold air intake because the MAF freaks out. It's FAR too sensitive in my opinion. I can't even run a K&N filter because the small traces of oil get onto the MAF and I lose power and it starts to stumble.
