cam choice

OK, I've spent the last 30-45 minutes looking for aftermarket cams in an LB9, specifically the 86 and earlier years. Didn't have too muc luck. I am going to get a new motor eventually. For now I want to wake up my 305 a little bit. I want to do a cam for sure, full exhaust and maybe some other items. I have a ported plenum, also gasket matched the runners/base. What is a good cam that I can run without sending my ECM into fits. Would an L79 cam work? Also what else would you guys recommend. BTW my car only has 88,000 miles so I know the motor has some life left.

Thanks,
Jason
