Will a hurst quarter stick shifter fit with my stock console in my 88 GTA?

 

not unless it is a model made for that console. However many people do adapt other shifters, I just wish someone would show how they did it, maybe in the form of an article. Anyone?? Anyone??

 

If you're asking if it will fit into the actual console, yes - however it will not function "properly" with your factory shift plate (perhaps you could cut material out of it to make the shifter fit at least). Many people use manual transmission boots/shift-plates for an aftermarket shifter that's not a direct replacement (such as the 3rd gen specific Megashifter from B&M).
