slap shifter
does anyone know any thing about slap shifters? are they good, worth the buy, reliable what do they cost?

I haven't heard anyone refer to a slap shifter in a long time. Now they are generally called ratchet shifters. Yes they work, yes I like them. Look them up at Summit.

i havent heard them called that either..LOL
we had a 72 challenger with a 440 and a slapstick in it ..LOL..but that was many many moons ago...LOL

I put a B&M console megashifter in mine and it is great. The top plate for the console matches the other interior pieces of the car perfectly. As an added bonus, my wife won't drive the car now because she doesn't like the shifter!
But it really is a huge improvement over stock.
