i can't find a casting number for these heads anywhere on the site, and it appears that the do NO porting to the ports. which would be necessary to me. i see they unshroud the chambers for the larger valves, but do NO blending. get some jy 416's and port them youself and go have someone put some screw in studs and guide plated on and the larger 1.94" intake valve. it will be cheaper in the long run when you consider the price of all the upgrades and then shipping.
with the way i am going to be doing my heads, i would be giving them over $800!

they use 416's and 081's
i have some 416's but after adding in new valves, springs, retainers, guides, plus machine work, i think it would be cheaper and easier just to buy some aftermarket heads.
after adding up everything from the summit catalog for a head overhaul and cam swap im at $900 without the machine work.
seems like i might as well wait a little longer and just get a longblock and have a new engine.
why do you need a guideplate?

guideplates keep the geometry all square. especially if you run a large cam or a 1.6 rocker is when they are good to have, cause you have to elongate the pushrod holes in the heads, which, from the factory are what is guiding the pushrods from getting all hay-wire.
