HIDs Anyone?

Hey everyone, I'm new here. I have an 84 camaro and a question. I want to get HIDs, I already have the h4 conversion headlights, and bought an h4 HID kit online. The problem is, when the shop went to install the kit, they said it wouldn't fit at all. Does anyone have any ideas or opinions?

Was the kit made for a 3rd gen.If so it should install wiyh no hassle. It should have 4656 style housings.H4 lamps arent really HID bulbsthough.Regardless the bulbs should snap into the 4656 style housing. Then the adapter harness should go between the H4 & stock halogen harness.Thats how it was on my 84Z when i had one of these kits on it.

The h4 headlight kit works fine, its the HID kit for the h4 housings that doesn't fit, because of the reflector cap built into the headlight. Any ideas??

I dont remember the details of the kit i used,But i do remember the 4656 housing & H4 fit without any mods.Unlike my xenarc housings required a small mod to the headlamp pocket to fit them.Maybe some pics will help?
