summit plug wires

I've been looking for some affordable plug wires and the best buy I've seen are the Summit Racing 8mm universal set. Anyone have any experience with these? The Accel's are a little cheaper, but I've heard bad things about Accel.

I have a set but haven't installed them yet. They are real beefy looking and overall look like they are decent quality. The universal set includes the crimping tool as well. I wonder who makes them for Summit.

Well I came home last night and found a package waiting for me. Inside contained my very nice looking summit plug wires. I have to say I am very impressed with them. I was a little disappointed to find that they are universal and not cut to fit, but oh well.

They do make them ready to go for your application. The universal gives you the advantage to choose how and where your route the wires.

This is very very true. I had planned on routing the wires over the valve covers. This didn't work because the heads I'm using are angle plug and the boots smack the header flange. So I had to run them under the primaries. I couldn't figure out why wires were so long, thank goodness they are.
