Anyone ever hear of engine quest cyl heads??
The company that I work for has started using some of these heads for their performance applications. Anyone ever hear of them their website is http://www.enginequest.com/ they also have flow numbers for their heads if anyone is interested.

They are making the old protopline heads. I have spoke with them through email a few times and are redoing the aluminum heads completely to try and fix all the problems with them.

you mean you might actually be able to get a normal unmodified socket to fit in the head bolt pockets. my friend bought pro topline 220cc's alum and we had to grind down sockets to make them thinner to tighten the bolts. it really sucked.

The EQ heads are made at a completely different foundry and they are supposedly trying to improve on the pro topline heads. The original Topline foundry is producing heads for RHS and supposedly have an improved QC to eliminate the mistakes that Topline made. Lots of guys like to get the old topline heads since you can get them for practically nothing but its hit or miss with them. I got a set luckily the only problem i had was that the rocker stud bosses were tapped to shallow.
