At your HP level and with the RPM range of the TPI system is the 1 3/4 header really necessary? With that in mind, doesn't SLP make a legal 1 3/4 header which is stainless for about the same money?

By the time you add the y-pipe from Mufflex which last time I checked was $250 isn't this a lot of effort and money for a non-legal, low hanging exhaust system that will rust and may be overkill in the first place?

You seem to be talking about the full-length Super Comps. I would think you'd be better off all around with the Super Comp Shorties. They come with the O2 sensor and air injection provisions, and the y-pipe. I don't know what the primary size is, but it's probably 1-5/8, which will be fine for 330hp. Good insurance in case the "people" you know become known.

On another note, according to the Jan '01 Pop Hot Rod, Jim Pace has come out with D-port Hedman headers (supposedly exclusive from Pace). Don't know if they have shorties. Couldn't find them on their web page.

Never mind about the D-ports. The 330 has Vortec heads...
