My car came with factory louvers, took them off real quick. Look ok from certain angles, really bad from the side I think. Just too much on the rear of the car. Here they look pretty good:

The blue Firebird even has the rear wiper. Those louvers had to sit up so high off the window for clearance.I installed a set of factory louvers on my '83.This is one of those things that comes down to personal preference.

if you like the look but dont like the shitty black coloration you can buy plastic ones that you can paint or you can prime and paint the metal ones.

last time I checked, classicindustries had them for firebirds, and since they have a catalog for camaros as well, logic would tell me they have them for camaros as well. their stuff's expensive though

Rat welcome to TGO boards.Check out Third Generation USA( http://www.thirdgenusa.com/ ).Dave Staubli is the owner and a member on here(IROCZDAVE I believe is his nick on here).I've purchased from him as have many others here.He has a set of used factory louvers on his site for sale.

Thanks, classicindustries does have them for the camaro also. Are the ones pictured here the 3 piece louvers?
I also checked out the thirdgenusa site. That is the style I am looking for, but that one is kinda bent up.
