Hawks Question.

Has anyone here had Hawks do there LS1 swap for there 3rd Gen.? I was just curious about there quality of work. So I thought I would ask some of you all. Thanks in advance. Oh one more question how much did it run for the entire process?

I don't know anyone personally, but I have seen pictures (they have some on their site), and I know their work has always been top notch. They are the #1 place doing swaps right now AFAIK

Not sure of the price but a guy in our club had an LS1 conversion done in his GTA........he is quite pleased with the work and the performance.

How has the reliability been for those LS1 swaps? I dont wanna drop 10-15 G's on a crate and swap if Im just gonna have a $hit load of breakdowns and what not?

I'd really like to know how much they charged for the swap, too. This will be my first engine swap and I think the LS1 might be biting off more than I can chew.

Call them, I am sure they would be happy to tell you what they charge. Someone already listed the number in this post.

Consider doing it yourself, if you have the space. If anything breaks in the future, you'll know where everything is, and how to fix it. Instead of being stuck somewhere, calling a tow truck, then having to pay $$ to get it fixed.
