powermaster starters?
I need a new starter in my car and was looking at the Powermaster starter in the Summit book for $120. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...w=1&N=700+150+
anyone have any input on these things? I am running a 10:1 CR engine and I also have Hooker LT headers with a T56 if that matters

Re: powermaster starters?
Forget it. Go to autozone and get an LT1 starter with a lifetime warranty. They are like 130 if you turn in a core. Well worth it though. They are smaller and are gear reduction.

Re: powermaster starters?
I'd rather spend the money on the powermaster starter than to change out a "lifetime warrantied" auto parts starter every 6 months. At least that has been my experience between the two.
