Re: b&m transkit
Ive got the stage 2 shift improver kit ($30-40) in both my s10 and camaro. I love how it feels. Its just the right amount for a street/strip. IMO

Re: b&m transkit
I'd stick with TransGo as I've had four trannys with them. I've seen far fewer negative statements about them (TransGo), too, than B&M and lastly that's what Dana uses.
I did have one car with a B&M shfit kit, however, with no problems.

Transgo all the way. 92Formula is right. The B&M has been cast in nothing but negative criticism and reviews. Just do a search on both.
I say go with the TransGo kit though......

Re: b&m transkit
I made the mistake of installing a b&m transpak in my 700r4. i never have been able to get it shifting right. first to second is nice and firm but it slips going into third under any load. ive checked the tv cable, and also replaced the boost valve assembly as well as the accumulator pistons and seals thinking that they may have been damaged during the install. ive seen no improvement.
Installing the kit at 140,000 miles and driving it hard may have been my problem though.

Re: b&m transkit
i installed the B&M shift improver kit in my car and i haven't had any problems with it at all. it shifts pretty hard, but its not uncomfortable. it does feel like it slips a little going into drive but other then that i like it.

Re: b&m transkit
I had a transgo in my 700R in my GM truck...best shifting transmission I've ever had, though it was rebuild by a reputable shop as well.

Re: b&m transkit
There is no comparison between the two kits.
The Transgo addresses so many weaknesses in the 700R4 and 4L60E tranny's that the B&M doesn't.
When you consider the longevity that you're adding to your trans, the Transgo is the more economical choice in the long run.

Re: b&m transkit
Had a TransPak in a th350 way back when and loved it. Had one in a 700r4 and it never worked right. Had 4 or 5 transkits in th350 with no problems.
