383 cam selection
I am currently building a 383 and need help on cam selection. Honestly this is my first engine build and i have very little knowledge to help me in my selection. My engine has afr 195 eliminator heads, eagle rotating assembly (cast crankshaft, Eagle I-beam rods, hypereutectic Speed Pro pistons, Clevite77 bearings, and Perfect Circle Rings) and I am trying torun around 10.7:1 cr. Apparently a steeper cam will allow me to run 10.7:1. That being said, what would be the best cam to allow for my cr and also give me the daily driver drivability that i need.

Re: 383 cam selection
What I have is a zz409 cam and have a 10:8 cr. I get 20 mpg with this and runs hard.

Re: 383 cam selection
Well im putting on an accel superram intake. Is the zz409 still a good option for the superram or would another cam work better?
