Why does the JET Air Foil fit in the rubber intake tube rather than bolt to the TB, is there some sort of advantage to that?

It doesn't fit in the throttle body? Thats strange...I don't think there is really an advantage to this...it may even be a disadvantage. I used to have the one made by holley and it was kinda horrible so I got the one from Comp Polymers which is kinda like the TPIS design and that works alot better.

If its like mine it does fit in the TB. But there is a lip on it. The rubber duct work holds it in the TB.

Its easyer to install/remove, you dont have to remove the cover from the TB. One person I know of did have a problem keeping it in place. Ive never had a problem with mine though. It made for slightly better responce.

Yea, it does lip into the TB, but its not like it bolts in there, it just sits up aganist it and is held in by the rubber hose thingy.

Or... You could do what I did when I was still TPI. I drilled a small hole through the throttle body and the airfoil and used a screw to hold it in place.
