Can you buy racing harnesses that work with stock seats? I have 2000 leather trans am seats in my thirdgen and I would like to have a good racing harness.

 

Yes, I got mine from Stroud Safety here in OKC. But you should be able to use RCI or Simpson as the attach rings are 5/8". You will just need to change the exsisting bolts to full threaded bolts instead of the factory ones there now. I attached the submarine belt to the rear two seat mounting studs. The lap portion is bolted to the exsisting hard points for the stock belt. The shoulder harness is attached to the roll cage.
