shifter swap
I wanted to put the hurst dual gate in my car but seems like its going to be to expensive unless somebody wants to let one go for under 200 if not i was going to settle for the megashifter but im a little confused about how it works. Is it basically like a stock shifter except when I say 1-2 or 2-3 it shifts right when I hit it. And do you have to pull the lever on the shifter when you shifting?

Re: shifter swap
The lever on the shifter is a reverse lock-out. you have to pull that lever to go into reverse. keeps you from accidental going into reverse.

Re: shifter swap
i have that shifter in my car and i love it . the lever also stops you in drive once you pass reverse. once in drive pull again once, and ratchet back 3 times and you are in low. once in low you do not have to pull again. just push up on shifter and you will feel it ratchet into each gear.. like i said i love it and it is a easy install. take old off. bolt new on . thats it. took me an hour or so to do the swap... looks great
