Jegs 700-R4 Chrome Flexplate Cover
I recently purchased a replacement flexplate cover for my 700-r4. The original plastic cover had seen better days and finally broke it last mounting hole that was holding it on. I purchased a new one from Jegs. The bolts provided did not fit my 700-R4. I used the original bolts and the new washers. I also had to drill 2 new holes as the pre-drilled ones on the front did not match. I had to make a notch so I could get it into place around the transmission lines. I also cut the back mounting flange off it since it was designed to go over the lip of the transmission pan. I didn't want to have to wrestle it out anytime I had to pull the pan off the transmission. Overall with a little work it went on and looks nice.
