Re: need help with installing projector lights

Are you putting HID bulbs in there? I've designed projector replacement for the H4656, that I'm going to have certified to be a completely legal replacement, but I'm not sure whether it will sell very well or not because it'll be a lot more costly that the standard 4x6" bulb. With the projector, bulb, harness, ballast and all wiring, it could cost around $300 for each one, but the lighting will be compareable to that of the new Cadilac CTS's. Do you think many people would be willing to pay that much for HID's in their Camaro?

If you put HID bulbs in the ebay housings youll be disappointed in their performance. Youre gonna wind up binding the crap out of people. They arent too bad with just the standard bulb in them, but dont put HIDs in there. Most people wind up hooking those daytime bulbs up to the running lights.

I bought the black out headlights with the blue light in it so I can turn on the blue light or headlights I installed them but is their a way putting the blue Light on for day time lights then when I turn on my headlights they turn off? And I plan on putting in Hids cause at night it doesn't light up much

All you gotta do is tap the wires for the blue light into the running lights. That will turn them on anytime you turn on the running lights, but wont turn them off with the headlights. You can wire them up to run anytime the key is on (or with the running lights if you want), but off when the headlights come on, but that would require the use of a relay and some wiring knowledge...
