classic industries power antenna mast

Has anyone had any experience with classic industries power antenna mast g4825 seen on page 114 in their book? The cable in my mast broke and I am trying to find a replacement that looks like the stock one.
Thanks,
Brian

You can just change the cable. Do a search. The part is cheap, and you retain your original antenna. It is not all that hard to put in.
Here is a good thread with part numbers:

Not really anymore, read that thread more. the GM kits to fix it are discontinued.

Wow that sucks. I know I saw the kit somewhere recently. I bought a mast from a company and they still had the cable. Let me look into it.

82tarecaro- Thank you, that's a big help.
Thirdgen ranch- I see that the mast you sell is new GM but are they exactly like the original or did GM make any alterations to the part over the years.
Thanks again for the help,
Brian

Well, automakers make alterations to parts all the time even within model years so it may or may not be exactly what you have now but it's going to be very close and definitely as close as you'll get for a new part.

I have that mast from Classic Industries. Works great with my original antenna motor and all the stocking mounting provisions. I've had it about 3 years now.

87350iroc, How did it look compaired to the original? Were you able to use the original bezel? Is it basically the same length as the original?
Thanks again,
Brian

Re: classic industries power antenna mast

It looks like Denny has the best price on the whole mast - and it is an original GM piece. It might be worth it to go for that instead of just the repair kit.

It looks identical to me. I'll see if I can dig up some pics. I re-used my stock fender hardware with no issues. Looks perfect. Length was good.

The ones we have are the same length and use the original factory bezel.
