It was a started project that never got finished. Its a 85 iroc Z.
I just need to put it back together. Car has not been started in the last 4 years. I have boxes and boxes of new parts from year 1, classic industries, and so on. Perfect dash thank god lol.

So i primed the motor for about 5 min and tried to start it. No fuel pressure.
I cannot hear the pump. Tank was empty and I filled it up before trying to start it. I replaced the relay on the fire wall. Is there anything else I can check before I pull the tank. Im not cutting the floor LOL. Maybe I hidden fuse somewhere?

 

 

Just picked it up last nite. I want to find any and all bugs if any before i start putting interior back together. I dont even know whats in most of the boxes.

 

Check that the plugs from the fuel pump sending unit are connected. If everything is in order and your pump doesn't prime before start up it might have siezed

Im not sure if all thirdgens have it in the same location but mine has it behind the rear seat(lift the carpet). That's one, second one would be in front of the tank, as soon as you lift the rear of the car and let the rear end drop you'll see what I'm talking about.

 

Ill keep the thread updated. Still trying to figure if I got a bad pump.
