hooker headers to big to care
I bought a 3"cat back Hooker exhaust for my 91 rs. When I opened the box I found a very nice looking muffler and pipes. I installed the exhaust with no problems until I got to the end. I installed the tips they were the same size as the exhaust pipes. I opened the tips up a little to try to get them to fit. Then I sanded the exhaust pipe ends down, still no fit. I ended having to put a 2x4 on the tips and beating them on. I don't understand why they would build such a nice muffler that you can not see but put junk tips where you can see.
I tried to contact Hooker but I guess they are to big to care, they don't even have a email for customer service.

Re: hooker headers to big to care
I ha the same problem with my catback, however after I trimmed the tailpipes to make the tips flush with the rear bumper the tips slid on like a glove.....also hookers customer service is really good. My aerochamber had pieces come loose inside of it and after telling then my problem they sent me a replacement muffler an it didn't cost me a dime.
