Founder's Performance Lower Control Arm Reloaction Brackets
So I bought some Founders LCARBs, and had the chance to install them. Great product, very solid and well made. I ran into a small hiccup that I fixed, just had to modify the bracket to fit a little. It seemed that on the driver side, the part of the bracket that bolts onto the shock mount was 3 degrees too high. So, I first tried to enlarge the hole but it didn't help. So I cut the bottom of the hole open and she was good to go. It holds well and I don't foresee any issues with them. I'm very pleased and will continue to buy Founder's parts.
Pics of what I ran into. You can see in the last pic that the brackets aren't exactly level.

I really don't like the idea of the mod you did. Seems like a potential for disaster. Shock mount may never come out of there, but it could. not to mention the metal is so thin at the top. There's a reason it's made with a hole and not a slot. Why didn't you just ream it out a little bigger?
