I found these and i like how they look more like the stock lenses. Not a bunch of LEDs with a clear lens cover like most others. Im just curoius if anyone has any experience with them.

they claim dot compliant..i'm skeptical but i'll go out on a whim and buy them. we'll see when they arrive how controlled the beam is. I don't want pointless glare like those crap conversion kits I once had as a foolish youngin.
I'll put em in and if I don't like it yank em right out and get some proper projector beams.
edit: changed my mind and will try these instead

Please post your results when you get them. I am very interested in how they work out. With them being a Hi/Low beam, they might actually work on a Firebird.Originally Posted by CaliChevyLover

Personally I like the look of the headlights I posted better, but please let us know how they work. Id rather have better performing lights, regardless of looks.

I completely understand styling preference. I currently have h4 ecodes from rallylights.com (just running halogens) and they look almost factory...very nice.
they arrive tomorrow, long as my car is out of the shop i'll be able to get them in.
My brother works at a car dealership so I should have access to the headlamp alignment machine to see how legally they actually perform if it were to go through state inspection...I really want to do that.

What did you use when you searched for those lights? The only ones I found where the oracle LEDs that look like a panel and not headlights.Originally Posted by CaliChevyLover

I used 4x6 led. led headlight, LED rectangle, and the amazon search function that finds what fits the year and make of the car.

How did the headlights work out for you?

I would like to know also. I have the H4 halogens now but have heard they do funny things like back feeding from the lo to the hi beams. Can't have that now. and I really like the led light, also thinking of HID's.

I found the company in another thread about led headlights, then searched for them on amazon.Originally Posted by SavageLaw

I had those in for one night and put my old lights in...ordered a different shown below and then returned the led ones. glare was controlled pretty well but light on the ground very spotty and scattered, looked terrible.
obviously had to open up the headlight buckets to fit these...did this when I put the led ones in.

i bought these with 35w 4300k hid. i like them. dont mind the led accents those i dont like..never going to use those. wish they didn't have em but whatever.
maybe get the high beam setup they have later on.
looks like the bit of glare you see is from light reflecting off of the headlight buckets. Irocs should have black buckets anyway so that should be an easy fix. Apart from that very nice and controlled light dispersion, im pleased. Do want to put the car on a headlamp alignment machine.
