shorty headers

Are there any problems with the shorty headers and the y-pipe piece? I am building a 350 and noticed that there were quite a few stes both coated and uncoated. I just wondered if they are prone to cracking easily or if there are any other problems.

My best friend bought a set of Headman Shorty Headers! The ones he bought were NOT emissions legal so he had to have all the AIR and emissions crap cut off!! Then, like the idiot he is, he didn't buy the "suggested" y-pipe to go with it so he had to have the stock y-pipe modified!! They do make the y-pipe to go with it tho' which is what I would recommend!! The headers themselves work great with thirdgens tho'! Just do yourself a favor and buy the brass collector gaskets right away! It'll save you a lot of pain down the road!
