Hawks Air Hood and Filter

Hawks Air Hood and Filter
A few years back I put a Hawks air ram hood on my car and bought the filter box that sets under the hood. The issue is connecting the MAF to the throttle body. Hawks told me to cut the stock rubber connector down which I did and it works but looks like crap.
Has anyone found a rubber adapter that works and looks good? I figured by now someone has come up with something better than cutting the factory rubber down.

I recently made a custom thing for my 3.4 out of stock pieces from other cars

I have a 5.7 motor and I cut off the stock rubber hose as they said but it does not seal correctly at the MAF and also looks like crap. I did order an adapter on line from a turbo charged type car of another make which may work. When I get it I will post the results.
Thanks
Thanks

If its for a Firebirdm I think the Camaro one may be shorter so you can attach that etc,...

I thought about that but did not want to spend 65.00 and find out it too was to long. The turbo adapter is much more flex able and costs less than 10.00 so I am going to give it a try.

Re: Hawks Air Hood and Filter
Here is what I came up with for a rubber boot as Hawks has no clue what to do and they sell the hood and air cleaner. I e-mailed them a week or so again and no answer because they don't have an answer. This boot is made to be put on a turbo charger and is a 4" to 3" adapter.
It can be formed to fit the the throttle body. I did trim the 4" side about an 1/4" to get a tight fit. This is much better than the cut off factory rubber that never seals correctly. I even tried sealing it with gasket silicone at one time and that is a pain in the butt. You can buy this adapter on e-bay for 10.00
