Cobra King Aftermarket Fenders Suck
Cobra King Aftermarket Fenders Suck
I painted my car last year and replaced my beat up original fenders with Cobra King ones from Ebay. I just wanted to raise awareness to anyone interested in aftermarket fenders that these things are like play dough. What I mean is that everytime you touch them you will leave a dent.
At this point in time after painting, I’ve probably left around 10-12 dents on my fenders that I have had to work out and wet sand/buff. Everytime you have a buddy lean on your car or you work in your engine bay, you leave dents.
They are cheap, yeah. They are even the same thickness as original fenders according to my micrometer, but not the same quality steel.
I will be buying original fenders here soon and painting them to replace these Cobra King fenders.

'Never heard of those. I bought a set of Sherman fenders. Haven't installed them yet. 'Wondering what kind of issues I'll have with those...
