im looking at the Unlimited Products website and fiberglass fenderes only weigh 8 pounds.

one of my fenders needs to be replaced come spring, so was thinking possibly just replacing both fenders, car needs to go for paint anyways so they could prep the fiberglass to fit perfect.

cost difference is 80 bucks vs 200

i guess worst case cenario ill pull my fender off and weighit right before i order the new parts, but was wondering if anyone had an idea how much metal fenders weigh

and wouldnt mind some opinions on wether people think its worth it.

car is partially a street car but would also like to get into some competitive solo1 stuff

 

stock metal fenders dont weigh very much, your really not saving much weight by gettin fiberglass ones

 

lol unless someone has another opinion, 80 bucks it is then, i have yet to pull a camaro fender off, or anything of that size

 

very thin very light stamped steel, not worth it at all. now the hood on the other hand....my hood is 13 pounds, factory hoods are 60s/70s ?? something like that.

 

ya too bad no one makes a stock iroc hood, otherwise id be all over that
