fiberglass fenders

anybody used any of the fiberglass fenders that are available? any luck with them?

I guess it's my turn to hit the flag.

The weight savings over the thinner steel fender is minimal. Plus you'll end up with all the issues of 'glas. Fitment, waves, breakage, etc.

On the fenders, stock steel is the way to go.

Here is a link that has some fenders. I thought about doing it but decided not to.

I agree, but can you show me 1 thread where someone has actually bought and installed them?

NOPE!

Maybe that says somethin?? By the way, the above comments are my opinion, and other people may feel differently.

Well, that site says "7.5 lbs". Anybody put a regular fender on a scale??

My factory GM GTA fenders weigh 14 lbs a piece without the ground effects.....
