Hedman Headers Good or bad?

I'm going to get a pair headers, hedmans because I'm poor and on a budget. My question is should I get shorty and the required y pie or go with the long ones?
Soon after I will go to a custom dual cat, dual muffler exhaust setup.
Thank you

they are good for a mildly modded engine, the y-pipe is decent too. If you have a highly modded motor, you should probably look at full length headers, especially with the dual exhaust. I have the headers on my car, it was a straightforward install. I have a hedman y-pipe modifed (3" cut-out installed on it) if you want it..

I have used the hedman headers you speak of for over a year now and am very happy with them.

Very good “bang for the buck” header. They are 1-5/8”, fit well and the construction is good. You need to be careful when you order, there are some with out AIR fittings and some do not even have O2 bung welded in them. Just make sure you order what you need.

I've used them in the past and was happy with the ease of installation and fit. I had the shorty's and y-pipe. Performance was good also. I did have to weld an O2 bung on the driver's side header for the O2 sensor.

I have hedman full length headers and I'm very happy with them. The quality is good and the installation wasn't too bad.
