305 TORQUER HEADS

i have 84 camaro with lg4 current mods are elgin cam .452 lift performer intake stamped roller rockers 600cfm edelbrock msd distributer and wires heddman shorty hedders and y pipe summit high flow water pump trying to decide to get a set of 305 torqer heads or i can get a 377 stroker for about 1400 dollers and take out my 305 just wanted to see what you guys think

The Torquer heads are great for building torque but it depends how many miles are on the 305. Is the other motor newer. You have to decide weather to spend a lot of money on your 305. Mine only lasted 110,000 miles before it self destructed. If you think that the 305 will last, go for it. Remember though, the new heads will put a lot more strain on the used motor. Have the main bearings been changed lately?
