determining a vortec head

what are some visual cues and/or casting number determine an authentic vortec head?

I was looking at a supposed vortec head and it looked surprisingly similar to my stock 305 heads except for the rounder exhaust ports on the vortec...

Mortec.com will have the casting numbers........however the vortec heads only have 4 intake bolts and have no strait in no angle.

Only four bolts..........just above the intake runner going into the head. These are great head but keep in mind that STOCK they will only handle .450 lift but can be taken out to .550

Those #14102193 heads are not vortec heads.

I believe those are late model efi heads. The vortec heads do not have a center bolt hole.
