Need hints for installing SLP intake runners on a 91' TA
I am going to be installing SLP intake runners on my 91 TA. It has a 305 5 speed with AC.
Just looking at things, I can't even see all of the torks screws that are holding it in. Looks like a curved torks is needed to clear the valve covers. Otherwise looks like the valve covers need to come off????
Does SLP provide the step by step instructions for the install???
Thanks.

I just put some on my 87' and it wasn't hard at all I had to use the tool that they sent. that JUST cleared my valve cover. and I also had to reuse 2 of the bolts that go from the inside out but other than that NO problems at all.

What bolts were those???
So you are provided with some new bolts?
What did you use as a gasket? Do they provide something or do you use a RTV type adhesive.
I see you have headers listed for future mods. Are you going with SLP's ? Let me know how it goes. Maybe take some photos. Ha!!!
Thanks.

ya your provided with the tool, bolts(cept those 2) gaskets a nd the runners. if you have gotten yours yet go to steathperformance.com and call and ask for mike. tell him I sent ya from thirdgen and you might get a discount. last time I talked to him he was working on doing that for anybody from here I"m not sure if he has it set up or not yet
edit:
also I plan on going with hedman's hi-temp coated headers for like $350 I really want SLP but just can't justify the $600+ for em :-)
