Guldstrand

Hey i was wondering if anyone knew much about guldstrand? i've been to their site and saw their current parts but does anyone have any other info on the company? back in the 80's did they every do more than just suspension like engine or body work??? if anyone could give me ANY info on this company i would deeply appreciate it.

They are F-body suspension experts and have been from the very beginning. I purchase my polygraphite bushings from them that I modify and sell with the greasable front sway bar bracket kits. They are the only source for 36mm polygraphite sway bar bushings. You should order a catalog from them.

pretty cool article, i ordered it from ebay.. that explains alot of mysteries about my car like the roll bar, the speedo, and a few other things.. thats basically my car in the article except mine isn't spercharged

He's been a friend of the family for years (40+ years). Mr Guldstand's specialty has always been Corvettes. Most of the engine work was usually subbed out to Traco next door to him back in Thunder Alley (Culver City, Ca). He has alway done the big buck custom stuff mostly for the Hollywood crowd- James Garner, Arnold Swartszeneger, Lorenzo Lamas, to name a few. He was also the first professional driver ever hired by Penske, and did allot of engineering and racing with John Greenwood also taking the first Vette ever to the 24 Hr La Mans. He has an Impressive history that not many young people know about.
