SDPC problems.
I ordered a set of Manley valves from them 3 weeks ago, one Manley box had been opened and was missing one valve, and another valve's sealed baggie had been opened. There went my weekend plans.
I emailed SDPC and they called back next day indicating they were sending two replacment valves (sounds good so far). I asked for UPS 2-day shipping to ensure I wouldn't miss another weekend opportunity and the guy said "no problem."
The box shows up, just two valves with no packing material so they could rattle around and bang into each other, and a credit card slip showing I paid $16 for the UPS 2-day shipping.
Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't seem right having to pay for SDPC to make good on the original order. I emailed them asking for them to cancel the $15 transaction, we'll see what happens...
Postcript: SDPC credited me back the $15 so we're good.

The only real problem i had with them is the "technical" assistance! The one guy i spoke to did not know what it took to get a ZZ4 into my car. I had asked if the flywheel would match up, he did not know. Asked him if the water pump that came with it would work on my car, he did not know. I asked him if i would have to drill into a head for an accesssory bracket, he did not know. Now i am not expecting them to be mechanics or anything, it would just be nice for them to know a little something about what they are selling. And when i bought the Hot Cam kit, they had me buy the whole kit for $500 when all i needed was the cam and roller rockers. The springs on the fastburn heads are the same as the ones that come in that kit. Another waste of money that could have been avoided! Oh well, you win some and you lose some. Its a good thing you got your money back.
