i wrote down the web site awhile back when i first got my transam. i needed the repair kits for my hinges and 3rdgen solutions looked like the only place to get repair kits unless you wanted to repair them GM's way. anyway i went to www.3rdgensolutions.com to see is the website was still there. i went there and all of the reviews are old and the website looks the same it did a year ago. also topdown solutions is not selling the kits anymore. does 3rdgensolutions still exsits and are they still selling the repair kits?

 

well a couple people read this...does anyone know anything about thirdgen solutions?

 

Can't help with the status of 3rd gen solutions, but I bought one of their greasable door hinge repair kits a few months ago and just recently bought a new set of doors complete with hinges- so I might not have to use the kit if the hinges are good (I should get them this week and find out). If you can't get ahold of 3gs, PM me and I'll sell you my kit if I'm not using it.

 

Yes i'm pretty sure 3rdgensolutions is still in service, a member by the name of AndyZ28 or soemthign similar to that is the owner of the site. Try PMing him for more info

 

FYI, look at the very bottom of the TDS main page for the hinge repair kits. I'm currently out of stock (hence it being dropped from the Body & Interior category where they normally show up). My next stocking order is FINALLY shipped to me and should arrive on Wednesday.
